Documentary Filmmaking Workshop

The Palace Theater is proud to host Hawai'i Doc Club, an 8-week Documentary Filmmaking Workshop
This is an 8-week documentary filmmaking workshop geared towards both beginner and advanced filmmakers. Each week you’ll watch and discuss a modern documentary film with the class while learning practical skills to make your own 5-minute short film. Full and partial scholarships are available.

Students interested in an intro to the workshop are encouraged to register for the Half Session, or the first 4-weeks, of the workshop.
8-WEEK (FULL): July 29 - Sept 19
4-WEEK (HALF): July 29 - Aug 22

Cost: $450 for the Full Session
$250 for the Half Session
Level: Beginner to Advanced
Ages: Adults and Teens 15+
