18th Annual He Lei Hiwa No 'Iolani Luahine Hula Festival & Educational Challenge 2020 The festival will feature hula workshops, Ni'ihau shell jewelry workshops and a feather flowers workshop to create a lei pua papale. Hula presentations will feature keiki, opio, makuahine, makuakane, and kupuna.

The hula presentations on both days are a free community event and everyone is invited to attend! Donations will be gratefully accepted to support the festival.

Dressed in period costume, Ka‘ū actor-director Dick Hershberger brings the renowned geologist to life.
Every Tuesday at 10 a.m., 12 noon and 2 p.m. Each performance is about an hour.
